Direct vet donations: The vet doesn't accept donations. Melissa handles all payments for Cooper's care, and a bracelet gives you something meaningful while helping her cover the costs. It's a way to be part of Cooper's fight, not just send money into the void.

GoFundMe: We considered it. But here's the thing — when you wear Cooper's bracelet, you're carrying his story with you. Every person who asks about it is another chance to tell people why Cooper matters. A GoFundMe is a one-time ask. A bracelet is a conversation starter that keeps helping long after you buy it.

Hemangiosarcoma is an aggressive cancer that formed on Cooper's spleen. It's fast-moving and deadly — without treatment, Cooper has weeks.

Here's what needs to happen:

1. Emergency splenectomy — Surgery to remove the cancerous spleen ($5,200)
2. Chemotherapy — Eight weeks of treatment to stop the cancer from spreading ($3,000)

This isn't a guaranteed cure. Chemo gives Cooper his best fighting chance, but there are no promises with cancer. What we know is this: if we don't try, he's gone. If we do, Bobby gets more mornings with his best friend.
